Let Music Tribes Unite Media (MTUM) take care of podcast editing, podcast publishing, and writing the podcast show notes.

Editing Service Descriptions

  • Editing out “ums,” stammering, long or awkward silence, heavy breaths, etc... We go through every second of audio and pull out as many of these phrases as possible. Occasionally an um is blended in with another word so much so that it’s not possible to remove it.

In other instances, it is best to keep a stutter included so that there is context. To remove it would cause a sentence fragment or a sentence to seemingly come from nowhere.

The goal is to create a polished, smooth-flowing conversation in which listeners will not be able to tell that any edits have been made.

  • Audio-production enhancements, including vocal balancing, vocal compression, noise reduction, hiss/hum removal, and equalization.

  • Mixing in any intros, outros, commercials, or music bumpers. We can provide male or female voiceovers...

  • Mixing down to -16 LUFS audio standard...Why?  If you mix to the broadcast radio standard (-23 LUFS in Europe, -24 LUFS in the US), which is how most audio editors work. Then set your microphones and other things to that level. When it’s time to export your final podcast, we will then audio editor to output it to -16 LUFS.
